He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Willie Mae West; sisters, Mary Swanson and Ernestine West.
Mr. West is survived by his wife, Jessie Mae West of Fayetteville, NC; daughters, Glenda Lynn West of Hampton, VA and Laquita West of Fayetteville, NC; stepchildren, Robbie (Tommy) Chalk of Fayetteville, NC, Yolanda Johnson of Madison, AL and Gregory (Shaniel) Johnson of Newport News, VA; brother, Samuel West; sisters, Alice West and Julia West all of Chattanooga; dear friend, Patricia Cook of
Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
