Lottie G. Burns, 88, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in a local hospital. A native of Cleveland, TN, she has been a resident of the Chattanooga area most of her life. She attended the Morris Hill Baptist Church and was the daughter of the late; Walter E. and Willie R Griffin Johnston. She was preceded in death by her husband; James L. Burns and a son, Ronald L. Burns. Survivors include two daughters and theirs husbands, Connie and Billy Weathers, Chattanooga and Mitzi and Dennis Huskins, Rock Spring, GA ; four grandchildren, Brandon L. (Jean) Huskins, Troy A. Huskins, Mary-Catherine Weathers and Andrew Weathers; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Eugene Butler officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 E. Brainerd Road.
