Maria Juan Tomas-Manuel

Maria Juan Tomas Manuel, age 76, of East Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 20 21, after battling cancer. Mrs. Maria Juan Tomas-Manuel was born on August 27, 1945 in Aldea Canmox, Hueguetenango Guatemala. Her children are: Juan Pedro Juan, Mercedes Pedro Juan, Angelina Francisco Juan, and Pedro Jiménez. They all live here in the USA. She came to the United States in 2020 and was a resident of this country. Her life deteriorated due to liver cancer, and she only lasted two months with this condition. This disease took her very fast. Her son Pedro is the coordinator of the Immaculate House of Prayer and is very active at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. She felt very proud of Pedro and all her children. Visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 11am to 1pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404. A Vigil Service will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 1:30pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery at 3pm, 1 Mount Olivet Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37412. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 20 at 6:30pm at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, 214 E 8th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402. May she rest in peace.
