Mrs. Mary Ann Melton

Mary Ann Melton, age 67, died on Saturday, July 24, 2010 in a local hospital. She graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1961 and a graduate of Hagerstown Business School. She was a member of Tyner United Methodist Church where she was a member for 42 years and served as the Sunday School Treasurer for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class and the Vic Myers Sunday School Class. She was a retired bookeeper and accountant.

She was preceded in death by father, Robert Eikelberger;

She is survived by husband of 48 years, Larry Melton; daughter, Kandi (Rick) Hutton; granddaughter, Tiffany Hutton; mother, Mary Eikelberger

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 A.M.at Tyner United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Haskins officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Vic Myers Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the East Brainerd Chapel of funeral home.
