Michael Dale Cribbs

To know him was to know he fiercely loved Jesus and his family. In that order. His heart was always in the mission field whether it was as a police officer in Oklahoma and Tennessee or across the ocean in Moldova and Ukraine.

In his 35 years he went from patrolman to Captain. Although he eventually went administrative, his heart was always in patrol. His love of “his girls” and his “baby” was well known to everyone and especially known to them. In the 28 years he spent at Eastwood, he made many friends and many of those friends became family. He loved and was greatly blessed by the Eastwood family. He loved well and was well loved by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Gwen; his daughters, Felicia (Travis), Laura (Matt) and Mechelle; his grandchildren, Ivy, Nixxie, Roland, Shaylee and Skylar; and his great-grandson Kurt.

A Visitation for Michael will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Eastwood Church, 4300 Ooltewah Ringgold Rd, Collegedale, TN 37363.

A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
