Michael was preceded in death by his father, John Lester Turner; mother, Shirley Mae Wilkins; son, Michael Dewayne Turner; grandson, Shawn Wesley Turner; brother, Johnny Turner; and sisters, Beverly White, Kathy Barnes, Sheila Pardue and Patty Pardue.
Those Michael leaves behind to cherish his memories include his beloved wife, Penny Turner of Rossville, GA; sons, Michael Turner, Jr. of Dalton, GA and Steven Norman of Rossville, GA; daughters, Michelle (Michael) Holt of Ooltewah, TN; Jennifer Turner of Niota, TN, Nikita Turner of Chattanooga, TN, Brenda (John) Deane of Rossville, GA and Sylvia (Dendy) Annette Krause; sisters, Leslie (Allen) Evitt of Rossville, GA, Vickie (Jimmy) Newman of Chickamauga, GA and Sherry (Gary) Stocker of Rossville, GA; brother, Tony Bell of Chickamauga, GA; 12 grandkids; 5 great grandkids; lifelong friend, Albert Hardwood; a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
