Sandy was preceded in death by her mother Doris Swanson and father RL Thompson, brothers Richard L Thompson, Charles (Bobo) Brooks, and Michael Brooks, sisters Beverly Thompson and Janice Hope.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, William “Willie” Parkerson, of the home. She is also survived by 3 daughters and 1 son. Tammie (Ray) Reason, Melinda Moneymaker, Stephanie (Scott) Young, Wayne (Savannah) Patterson, 3 grandchildren, Hali Cheyene, Keyla Young, and Tristen Knight, 2 great grandchildren Lexi and Ryder, step-children Anita Parkerson, Vicki Allen, Christine O’Neil and Kent Parkerson, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Scott Young officiating. Interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, September 12, 2022 at the funeral home.
