

Eleanor May Howe Westine age 94 passed away Saturday June 14, 2014 in Milford, NH. She was born in Chester, VT, May 29, 1920 the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Bertha Nelson Howe. She grew up in Chester and graduated from Chester High School.
She was married to the late Leslie William Westine, Sr on June 26, 1943 in the Baptist Church of Chester.
She was a lifelong resident of Chester and member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Westine had worked many years at the National Survey in Chester.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and sister who took great pride in the home she created for her family. She was a keen craft hobbyist and animal lover (especially dogs). Her family and many friends will dearly miss her.
She is survived by sons, Leslie William Westine, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Delray Beach, FL, James Bryan Westine and his partner Maureen Hampton of Milford, NH; sisters-in-law Barbara Westine, Jeanette Howe, and Dorothy Howe Cook all of Chester; brother-in-law Howard Westine and his wife Doris of Chester; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Cesaitis and her husband Jeffrey of Fitzwilliam, NH, Jason Patrick Westine of Vernon, CT; great grandchildren, Eric Tyler Westine and Jesenia Ivette Westine both of Manchester, CT.
Her brothers Lawrence (Jake) and Paul Howe both of Chester and sister Madeleine Lane of Pompano Beach, FL predeceased her.
Graveside services will take place on June 20, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Chester. The Rev. Thomas Charlton, Pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate.
