Robert W. Snyder

Robert Winston Snyder, 57 of Windham, VT, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at his residence in Windham. He was born in Townshend, VT on February 1, 1956, the son of John Snyder and the late Winona E. (Abbott) Johnson.

Robert graduated from Green Mountain High School. He worked many jobs in his career, including Green Mountain Log Cabins, Smiths Mill and most recently Bear Paw Landscaping. Robert loved animals and his family. He was known by all as a hard worker and a guy who would do anything for others.

In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, H. Winston and Ella Abbott; paternal grandparents, Robert and Bess Snyder and a baby sister, Vickie Snyder.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gina Snyder of Windham; two children, Sharree Patria of Londonderry, VT and Sal Patria and his wife Jenn of ME; his father, John “Jack” Snyder and his wife Pat; a stepfather, Edward Johnson; two sisters, Marianne Felion of Londonderry, VT and Glinda Johnson of Arlington, VT; six brothers, Charles Snyder of Springfield, VT, Frank Johnson of Londonderry, VT, Jeffery Snyder, Sean Snyder of Andover, VT, Kenneth Johnson, and Ed Johnson, Jr. of Weston, VT; as well as many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his best friend, Bear.

There will be no services. The Adams Funeral Home, 35 Depot St., Chester, VT is assisting the family with arrangements.
