Boy did we have some fun times!!  You will be missed by us all.

You  were an amazing support person for your dad. Always there. Your dad would want you to find peace.   Don’t be a stranger!



I worked with Bruce for several years at Sherwin-Williams.  He was a delightful and great person to be around.  Bruce always had a great sense of humor.   I remember one day we were both working in the lab and there was music playing in the background.  During this time, Bruce was telling me about the particular concerts and venues he went to over the years.  He always had a good conversation in the waiting.  You could tell he loved his family very much from all of the photos in his office and how he talked about them.

 

I have known Bruce for about 15 years.  He was a truly good spirit.  We worked hard, but had lots of fun.  He was so intelligent and kind.  I could always count on him as a friend.  Rest in peace Bruce.   I am sorry for the families loss and will keep you in my prayers.

Bruce, I think we probably first met in 5th grade learning to play the trombone.  Until we went away to college 9 years later, we spent most of our lives together.  You were there for me throughout that time with your unconditional support during what has been some of the most difficult times in my life.  And I never could ride a bicycle as fast or as long as you or remember things as well as you, no matter how hard I tried.  During the last few years we were able to share some time together again, and while I sought to support you during your later years and did what I could, I knew I would never be able to match what you had done for me.  I have thought of you frequently over all these years, and I will always remember you.

For 15 years you were a boss, colleague and friend.  I wasn't there when you choked on the beef tips in '04. This might have turned out differently had I been, but probably not. I was there when they discovered the tumor. Gave you what assistance I could.  Stood by you as first Joan, then your Dad, Mom, Cindy, Diane and Bob passed beyond the veil. I hope your Homecoming was all i'd wish for it to be for you. Your guidance and silliness will be missed by Amanda, Kevin,  Lexi and Sienna and all who knew you.

My father was the best person I ever knew. When something happened no matter what it was he was always who I went to first.  I feel like every part of my world has changed. He was my best friend. I'm very grateful that I was able and available to help and support him the last few years. Not just because he was my Dad and I wanted to help but because I got to spend it with him. I am going to miss him so much. I love you Dad.
