Charles "Charlie" Francis Rogers

Beloved husband of Mary (Blackley) Rogers, father of Elizabeth (Scott) Fischer and Chas (Regina) Rogers and grandfather of Jackson Fischer. Son of deceased parents Wilfred Rogers and Betty (Cahill) Rogers and mother-in-law "Mom", Agnes Blackley. Loved by his siblings Gregory Rogers (Carol), Patrick Rogers (Cindy) and Anne Sojak (James), many brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. Charlie was born on November 7, 1957. Charlie grew up in Chesterland, OH and lived in Middlefield, OH for twenty-five years until returning to Chesterland in 2015. Charlie was a talented carpenter for over forty years and spent most of his career with Rogers and Cahill Construction. When Charlie wasn’t working, he was always busy spending time with family, gardening, cooking, golfing, watching sports or working on home improvement projects. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family the most. His favorite spot was on the beach in Pine Point, ME or eating lobster at the Clambake. Family and friends will be received for a Visitation at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Friday, March 11th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland. (Please meet at church.)
