He was a graduate of Ashtabula Edgewood High School where he played football.
Dave worked his entire career at CEI, Eastlake plant as an Instrumentation and Control Technician. He was remembered by co-workers as “the best”, and a go-to guy. He retired from CEI at age 55. (Yes, he was retired for 35 years!)
Dave enjoyed golfing, particularly after retirement. He regularly played twice a week, although Judy only committed to allowing him Friday as his golf day when they were married. He enjoyed taking care of his lawn and flowers; a passion he passed on to his children. He was dedicated to supporting his family, always volunteering to help with projects. Rarely did he miss an event that his grandchildren were involved in. He and Judy were very dedicated to sharing, volunteering at the YMCA, delivering Meals on Wheels, working on projects at St Helens, and singing for many years in the choir. He worked for many years at The Great Geauga County Fair. Friends were a big part of Dave’s life. The Praseks enjoyed all sorts of adventures, meals, parties, and some crazy St Patrick’s celebrations, details of which no one seems willing to share….
