Dennis J. Maxim, age 71, passed away on March 23rd, 2022. He was a life-long Chesterland resident and worked for and retired from CEI/First Energy. Dennis joined the Air Force right out of high school and served from 1969 until 2005 with duty in Vietnam and Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a member of several VFW and American Legion Posts. Dennis was very proud of his membership with the Polish Legion of American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph and mother Ethel; his brother Kenneth; and his cat Yoda. Dennis is survived by his sister Lois and his cat Joey Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 30th, 2022 from 11am until 12 Noon at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, where Funeral Service will be held at Noon. Interment at Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville Ohio.
