DOROTHY ELIZABETH HALCIK (nee Walsh), 78 years of age. Dearly beloved wife for 57 years to Robert George Halcik. Dear and devoted mother of Eric G. Halcik (wife Leigh-Ann) and Rosanne E. Halcik. Loving Grammy of Ryan Halcik, Dean and Dana Muzina and Donnie McGee. Cherished sister of Rosemary Bares (husband James D.). Dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and trusted co-worker and fond friend of many. Dorothy was educated at Gesu School, Beaumont School for Girls and Notre Dame College. In 2002 after 4 years with TRW and 30 years in branch banking, she retired. Dorothy was a 44 year member of Saint Anselm Church where she attained her greatest privilege, that of being a Eucharistic Minister. The family suggests contributions to St. Anselm Church, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, OH 44026 or to The Gathering Place, 23300 Commerce Park, Beachwood, OH 44122, (Helping cancer patients and their families. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anselm Church (see address above) on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery.
