Frank C Mormino

Frank C. Mormino, age 84, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Frank was the son of the late Frank J. and June (nee Cormier) Mormino. In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his brother Charles and sister in law Elizabeth. Frank is the devoted husband of 63 years to Eileen (nee Fleming); cherished father to Frank P. (Natalie) Mormino, Christine Russo, and Pamela Lyman; loving grandfather of Brittany Mormino, Nicolette Mormino, Dominic Russo, Madison Russo, Reese Russo, Delaney Russo, Kendall Lyman, Michael Lyman, and William Lyman; brother to Kathleen (Joseph) Cistone; brother in law to Leslie Mormino; uncle and friend of many.

Frank was a firefighter for East Cleveland Fire Department for 15 years and was an entrepreneur with many successful businesses in his life. Frank was a humble and kind man. He volunteered at the Cleveland Food Bank and would often help at his church. He was a devoted Christian and a faithful parishioner of Christ Presbyterian Church for over 40 years. For many years, he led the Bible Study group at the church. Frank enjoyed golfing, gardening, trips to Sunset Beach and Disney World, and spending time with his family. His grandchildren became the center of his world and he cherished the time they spent sharing advice, going on many adventures, and being together. Frank was a positive person with an uplifting way about him. He was eager to lend a hand and never let the smile on his face fade. His warm heart will be missed dearly.

Visitation for Frank will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church located at 12419 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland 44026 on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10am until 11:30am. Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:30am, following visitation, at the Church.
