Born Aug. 8, 1929, in Cleveland, she had lived in Burton for the past 56 years.
George Ann enjoyed reading, gardening, antiques, quilting, and cooking.
Survivors are her children, Kip (Connie) Humbert, Sandy Humbert, Andrew (Sandy) Humbert, George (Sandy) Humbert, and Bonnie (Mark) Guarnera; grandchildren, Scott Tieman, Matthew Tieman, and Heather Humbert; sister, Anna May Pollock; brother, Lewis (Kay) Tanno; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Humbert; and parents, Dan and Fil Tanno.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at First Congregational Church of Claridon, 13942 Mayfield Road, Claridon Township. (Please meet at church.) Inurnment will be in Claridon Center Cemetery.
