Gwenn Pokorny, age 67, passed away April 29, 2024. Born November 18, 1956 in Cleveland, she resided in Highland Hts., Mayfield Hts., and Cleveland Hts., before moving to Chesterland. Gwenn was an In-Home Caregiver to many over the years, mainly for people in the last years of their lives. In prior years she was an Office Manager with Orwell Telephone Company, in Orwell. Gwenn was a Graduate of Beaumont School for Girls and later a student at the Cleveland Institute of Art. She enjoyed camping in Canada and the Allegheny National Forest - Kinzua Dam, reading, and cooking with her best friend and husband, Ray. Gwenn also loved regular walks, talks, and get-togethers with many, including lifelong friends. She was a volunteer and member of the DTJ Taborville and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Most importantly, Gwenn was incredibly supportive and active in the lives of her entire family, especially her three children and four grandchildren. Beloved wife of Raymond Miguet; dear mother of Lauren (Branden) Rader, Garrett (Amanda) Maguire, and Justin Maguire; loving grandmother of Lily, Bryson, Finnegan, and Gabrielle; cherished daughter of Ann (nee Leonetti) and Don Pokorny; dear sister of Timothy (Cindy), Jeffrey (Mary Ann), David (Lyndie), and the late Terrence Pokorny.
