On June 19, 2024 Jim Maenner went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior. Jim leaves a legacy of faithful love for Jesus, his wife, his family and friends. For many years he was a faithful youth volunteer. Many could testify that they were introduced to Jesus because Jim shared Christ’s love with them.
Jim was also a devoted and faithful husband to Renee. They give God the glory for helping them overcome challenges that come with marriage. As they studied the Scriptures, and submitted to God’s plan for their lives, it resulted in a deep and enduring love. What brought them the greatest joy was serving Jesus together.
He was the adoring step-father of Alexandra Ware (Wesley), Jessica Cheung (Jonmichael), and John Komp; and cherished grandfather of Addison, Ezra, Olive, Logan, Oden and one precious unborn baby; and beloved uncle of Nathan and Joshua Gerlak and Aubrey Maenner; and loving brother of Kathy Maenner, Nancy Gerlak, and Mark Maenner (Lisa Martin). Jim is preceded in death by his tender-hearted parents, Norm and Ruth Maenner.
