

Margaret "Peggy" Bice, 67, of Newbury Township, passed away May 3, 2010, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. Born May 10, 1942, in Rupert, W.Va., she had been a resident of Newbury Township for the past 40 years. Peggy enjoyed cleaning, shopping, going to garage sales, and going out to dinner. One of Peggy's greatest joys was her grandchildren. She loved attending their events, helping take care of them, and just spending time with them. Peggy worked at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Newbury Township for 22 years. Prior to that, Hopewell in Mesopotamia. Survivors are sons, James "Buttons" (Lisa) of Newbury Township and Ken (Tina) of Newbury Township; daughter, Lisa (Steve) McClure of Streetsboro; grandchildren, Shaun, Diana Renae, Hannah Bice, Steven (Heidi) and Michelle McClure; and great-granddaughter, Tiffany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; parents, John and Elizabeth Day; and sister, Phyllis Crislip. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Pam Branscome will officiate. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
