Margaret "Peggy" Oram

Born January 3, 1942 in Cleveland she was a lifelong resident of Newbury. Peggy was a bus driver for Newbury Schools for over 35 years. She was a longtime St. Helen Catholic Church parishioner, enjoyed reading and crocheting, and an excellent baker often making cookies, cakes, and brownies. Peggy’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her son Tim; daughter Teri (John) Grimm; grandchildren Jack (Abby) Grimm and Eric Grimm; brothers Tom (Laurie) Mental and Mick Mental; sister-in-law Kathy Mental; and many nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband George; sister Barbara (Mike) Prots; brother Jack Mental; and parents John and Adeline (nee Haver) Mental. Family and friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Sunday 2-5 pm. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Monday, July 1, 2024 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd., Newbury (Please meet at church). Interment in Newbury Center Cemetery.
