Martha was a long-time member of the Independence Presbyterian Church. She never got the hang of riding a bike, nor was she able to blow bubbles or whistle, but she did enjoy eating her chocolate. She also enjoyed music (especially bagpipes), knitting, gardening, feeding the birds in her yard, and baking lots of delicious treats. Martha always had tea and shortbread each afternoon with family or neighbors, and was one of the few people who could actually fold a fitted sheet.
She is survived by granddaughters Heather Alexander and Kathleen Alexander Dickson, great granddaughters Abby and Amelia Sue, and the many friends she made with her smile.
She is predeceased by husband John P Alexander, son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Susan Alexander, and siblings Doreen, Nan, Jean, George, and Ella.
A Celebration of Life Tea Party will be held on Thursday December 16th, 2021 from 3-7pm at the Intergrove Lodge (Inside Metroparks North Chagrin Reservation) 3037 SOM Center Road, Willoughby Hills Ohio 44094.
