Raymond Edward Miguet, Jr., age 67, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at his home in Chesterland, Ohio. He was born on September 19, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Susan (nee Manza) and Raymond Edward Miguet, Sr. Ray was a 1977 graduate of West Geauga High School and then went on to build a lifetime career as an electrician.
In 2010, he married Gwenn Pokorny. Together they enjoyed camping and boating. They made many trips to Canada, and also enjoyed the Allegheny National Forest, Kinzua Dam, and Mosquito Lake. Ray also enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the National Rifle Association.
Ray will be deeply missed by his sister, Suzette (Charlie) Wright; his niece, Ashleigh; stepchildren, Lauren (Branden), Garrett (Amanda), and Justin (Danielle); and grandchildren Lily, Bryson, Finnegan and Gabrielle.
He is again reunited with his dear parents, Susan and Raymond Sr.; and beloved wife, Gwenn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, OH, 44026.
