Losing a loved one is always hard,no matter the age.  However, knowing we can all be together again once we all pass to the other side, is comforting. I did not know Bob but was taught by his wonderful mother.  It seems he had many great qualities, much like her. I wish peace to his entire family. Lynda Hamilton Speidel

Thank you so much for sharing Bob with us at Geauga Medical Center. Bob was one of the most caring, giving, compassionate and God loving men I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He had such a pure and giving heart. Even as he battled the cancer that invaded his body, he did so graciously and with a smile. Still bringing cheer to everyone he met. Bob cared so much about the people he met. Always asking about our families with genuine concern. May all of you find comfort knowing Bob is in the loving arms of our Lord. I feel blessed that the Lord chose our paths to cross. God bless and keep,all of you.

I worked with Bob Russell for decades as he was an exemplary volunteer: always friendly, kind, and helpful. He was my Christian mentor/father figure since mine died when I was 26.  Finding time to give of himself to others was so evident every day.  I share in this grievous loss with Marilyn and his loving family.  We lost a special man! Now he can share in the joy of our Lord. Till we meet again, my friend.

Bob was one of the most respected volunteers at Geauga Medical Center-he spoke to all and was always pleasant and helpful. Even as he battled cancer he always had a smile on his face and a friendly hello for everyone as he came in for treatment. We were all blessed to have him as our friend and he will be missed.

Bob was a wonderful, kind and caring volunteer for Geauga Medical Campus. Not only a phenomenal volunteer but a dear friend to so many of the employees. He touched many lives every day that he volunteered. It was a blessing to have him on our team.
