

Adalbert worked as a self-employed tool and die maker, a profession he pursued with dedication and skill. He was a proud member of the Brandenburger Schuetzen Verein of Chicago for 35 years and enjoyed activities related to flight, including aircraft watching, rocket launches, and aviation history.
He is best remembered for his devotion to his wife of 65 years, Erika, who passed away earlier this year in July. Adalbert was a caring and steadfast figure in the lives of his family and friends.
Adalbert is lovingly remembered by his children, Peter (Evangeline) and Martin Lengsfeld, and grandchildren Karl (Natasha), Paul (Deborah), Peter Jr. (Katie), Elizabeth (Ryan), Cristi (Zach), Julia, Erik, Margaret (Edward) and Kyle. His great-grandchildren, including, Zachary, Haleigh, Niklas, Hunter, Alexa, Trevor, Jacob, Maverick, Barrett, Emmett, Harlow and Lilith. He is also survived by his siblings, Helmut and Margarete Lengsfeld.
