Born August 26, 1917, Adele grew up in St. Hyacinth's Parish and married Frank in 1937 (who passed in 1962). A devoted and loving mother, she was very proud of her family and excited to be “Granny” to her grandchildren and “GiGi” to great grandchildren. Happy when celebrating holidays and get-togethers, any chance to spend time with family was important to her. She was an amazing grandmother teaching the children to appreciate the 'little things' like whipping up a batch of fresh cookies or playing "jewelry" store. Adele spent hours at the park watching the kids play, packing picnic lunches for numerous visits to Kiddieland and simply sitting in the backyard soaking up the sun while the children ran under the sprinkler. A dedicated and hard worker too, Adele was also deeply involved in her Church and Community and held many positions in local clubs. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
