Amina Torres

Amina Torres was born into life in Las Marias, Puerto Rico on May 14,1948, and born into eternity on February 22, 2026, at the age of 77. Amina was the beloved daughter of the late Confesor Torres and the late Maria Toledo; loving mother of Elba (Victor) Alvarez, Maribel Irizarry, Angel (Zulay) Irizarry, Jose (Mari) Irizarry, the late Jose Torres Jr., and Desiree Rodriguez; Adored sister of Blanca Rivera, Efrain (Mima) Roman, Monica Santiago, Jose Torres, Ramon Ortiz, Maria (Hector) Cartagena; adoring grandmother of Macho, Goldi, Nicky, Melissa, Angelica, Angel, Pipo, Eric, Alyssa, Amaris, Nathan and Isiah; most adoring great-grandmother of too many to count.

Amina was a devoted individual whose presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love and laughter will be remembered fondly.

A visitation will be held at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, located at 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634, on Sunday, March 01, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A final viewing is scheduled for Monday, March 02, 2026, at 9:00 am at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, followed by Celebration of life & chapel prayers service at 10:00 am.

Interment will occur at Irving Park Cemetery, 7777 Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60634 on Monday, March 02, 2026.
