Anita L. Baker was born November 30, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Andrew Ward Williams and Edna Marie Bell Williams. She passed away on April 24, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois at the age of 68. Anita was a longtime member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed volunteering her time working for the Democratic Party. She is survived by her brothers, Willis Williams, Melvin (Jean) Williams and Gary (Gwendolyn) Williams and sisters, Charlotte Clay, Joyce Williams and Cheryl Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mildred Trimuel and Linda Ferguson. She was very much loved and will be missed by many people. A Repass will follow the interment at 1333 N. Cleveland, Chicago in the Activity Room. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
