
He was born at Tower Hill Pennsylvania to Gaetano Castellano and Carmella DeLeo on December 10th 1915. The had nine children, five boys: Allessandro, William, Frank, Thomas and Charles. Also four girls: Donna, Isabella Mary and Ada.
Charles had 8 years of grade school, 4 years of high school and some trade school. He was very good on appliances. He worked for RCA for 33 years. In 1953 he was called to go downtown to a big hotel to work on a TV for President Eisenhower so he could watch the returns of the election.
Charles was in the Armed Forces for 3 years.
Uncle Charlie is very good at knowing all the old songs and changing the words for today’s standard. Oh! By the way has anyone seen his Harmonica?
