I don’t have many memories with him. Unfortunately most of the time I spent with him growing up was when I was barely old enough to read. I do have a handful of faded memories that I am still fond of. The last time I saw him was easily over a decade ago after he and his family moved into their beautiful home. He was describing his paintings I believe, I don’t remember exactly. What I do remember is that he was a very proud man. From the way he spoke and the depths of his knowledge. He was always certain and decisive. And that’s how I will always  remember him. As a proud man who knew what he stood for, and he was one of the most capable accomplished men I have had the pleasure to meet. To his children and his wife, I am sorry for your loss.
