David was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from being a Chicago Police Officer serving the city of Chicago at Western and Belmont area. After he retired you could see him at K’s Dugout spending time with his friends.
David is survived by his niece Bernadette A. Taets; his great nephews David Lawton Taets and Christopher John (Katherine Bodan) Taets; his great great nephew and niece David Christopher Taets and Alyssa Marie Taets. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings William Frank Lawton and Ramay Sinnott; his nephew in-law Richard Dean Taets; and his great niece in-law Mona Lisa Taets.
