Diane P Gedroc

Diane was the beloved sister of the late Eleanor (Gajda) and late Tom Chiczewski, and the late Arlene (Gajda) and William Sedlak; devoted wife and widow of Anthony S. Gedroc; and a cherished mother to Maria Gedroc-Malo (Michael Malo), Michael Gedroc, and John Gedroc (Lori Gedroc).

Known for her warm, welcoming spirit and her deep commitment to volunteering through Scouting and the Church, Diane touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity. Her family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others throughout her life, rather than the sorrow of her passing.

Diane is survived by her loving children and their spouses, and her treasured grandchildren: Sophia Gedroc, James Malo, Joseph Malo, and Adam Gedroc. She also dearly loved her many nieces, nephews, and godchildren, including Terri and Mike Harjung, Joe Chiczewski, Chris and Rich Lanza, Bill and Anne Sedlak, Sue and Chad Adams, Stephen Sedlak, and all of their children.

A Church Memorial Service will be held at St. Juliana Church, located at 7201 N. Oketo Ave., Chicago, IL 60631, on April 18, 2026, starting at 10:00 am. Following the memorial service, a Committal Service will take place at Maryhill Cemetery, Section 10, Block 56, Lot 16, Grave 2, located at 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL 60714, on the same day.. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
