Dearest Diane,
I find myself thinking of you especially today.  It's been three years since you've been gone and my heart and my life are as empty as the day you left this life.  I don't know why God has chosen to take you from all of us who loved you so.  Only that now you are at peace and free from the pain and suffering you so bravely endured for so long.  I miss the friendship we shared for nearly 58 years and long phone chats when either of us just needed someone to talk to.  I often remember the crazy things are we did growing up and find myself laughing out loud.  I will always remember the love and friendship we shared and that no one could ever take your place, my dearest, forever friend.

I love you and always have ever since I met you. We have been thru hell together since day one. Despite all the adversities we were finally accepted. We held on to each other and our love brought us through. We knew we were meant for each other and nothing was gonna stop us from being together. We had so much fun together. We learned so much about each other every day we shared and lived thru. We enjoyed the happy days, the concerts, the Cub games, fishing and the days we just went away and enjoyed each other. We held hands as we watched the sunsets over Lake Michigan. Everything we did was about our love for each other. I made a promise to you when you were diagnosed with cancer that I would never leave your side. I kept that promise till God took you from me. I cherished every moment we shared together. I will cherish the memories of "us" forever. I miss you terribly and feel so empty inside but I know that someday we will be as one in each other's arms again. I love you with all my heart and will forever.

 I was fortunate to see how much Diane was loved.  Rest In Peace Diane and peace to Ron and the rest of Diane’s family and friends. 

My beautiful, fun, caring, loving cousin. I have so many fond memories of you, from picnics, Christmas parties, or just coming over to do your hair, you were always strong and kind even when you were fighting the battle with cancer. I will forever remember you. I know you are at peace, and hopefully hanging with my mom, your mom and brothers. My heart hurts right now. Forever in my heart. Miss you Diane, glad you got to see the Cubs win a World Series ! Xoxo

No words can express the love and admiration I have for you, my best friend of 57 years.  The memories of our childhood growing up and the trials of both our adult lives we shared together will remain with me always.  You will be greatly missed, but your memory will live on in my heart always.

A sweet and caring person is how I remember Diane back in High School. Many years later becoming one of my favorite Face Book friends. Diane always had the most uplifting and beautiful posts.  I told her that often. RIP Diane. I will miss your fighting spirit and inspiring posts. 💕

Beautiful lady. Always loved the family reunions! So many of Michael's family gone too soon.

Diane was a special woman.  A loving mother, grandmother and god mother to my son, Michael. There’s so much kindness and love that she had for everyone. Heaven has a  very special daughter and sister.
