She was survived by her loving son, Walter (Maria).
Emily was preceded in death by her husband Walter Augustynski, parents, Stanley and Maria Kukla (nee Wegrzyn); and her daughter, Mary. Also, her two sisters, Evelyn (Wladyslaw) Onyszczak and Sylvia (Edward) Swietek.
and her nieces, Helen Onyszczak and Sylvia (Joseph) Macior.
Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was a proud member of St James Grammar School Mothers Club and Weber High School Mothers Club.
Emily will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Emily will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. Prayers will occur at 6:00 PM. A final viewing will occur Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 8:30 AM. Final prayers before mass will occur at 9:30. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Saint John Brebeuf Parish, 8305 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714. A graveside service will follow at St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.
