Emma, it's been almost 2 months since we had to say Good Bye.

Grandma,
It seems like yesterday that we went out for lunch at Rocco Vino's. It seems like yesterday that we all took a trip down to Arcola together. It seems like yesterday that I was sitting on your lap in the living room and you were listening to me read short stories. It seems like yesterday that you were over at our house to visit and I was running into mom's closet to grab your slippers for you. It's amazing how the little moments in life have the biggest impact, but that's why I'll never forget all the moments I shared with you. I love you Grandma, and I will miss you dearly.

Anna's) 50th wedding anniversary You were such a nice person. I always told my friends that you reminded me of the movie star Dorothy Malone.

Sunday Without Emma Lou
It is the second Sunday with out you in Sixty Two Years
In my worst Nightmare I never thought this would happen

Just a few days ago while relaxing in our TV room
you asked "what will you do if I go first"
I replied that won't happen I am six years older than you
you will be without me for many years

Unfortunately Fate had another  Plan 
She would not have to face her worst fears
In a few short  days she would be gone
leaving all of us grieving and in Tears

For all of the Sundays yet  to come 
We must face them all alone.

Grandma,
It's difficult to imagine you're gone, but your humble, genuine, and caring personality was something I always admired and one day hope to emulate myself. I loved listening to all your stories and was always so amazed at how strong you were through everything. I love and miss you so much.

Emma Lou,
My Life never really started till I met you. And now it has ended. I am Heartbroken. I can not imagine Life with out you. The only thing taht I am thankfull for is that you won't have to go through what I am going through.

Grandma, I never realized the understanding you had for the world. You exemplified what it means to be warm and empathetic, something I am striving to be more like every day. I know Grandpa was usually at the center of the story telling but I enjoyed all our time listening together, with you throwing me sly looks when grandpa would tell tales that may have contained a hint or two of exaggeration. From our countless trips to the zoo when I was little, to our family visit to Arcola not long ago, there are so many memories that I will cherish for years to come. A most loving parent yourself, which was passed down to my most loving mother, I can only hope to continue the trend as a parent one day myself. I love you Grandma. Rest in peace.

Dear Mom
I can't believe your gone. I have never been without you my entire life, and I don't know how to live without you. Every time something happens, my first thought is to call you and tell you,  just like I always did. Your beauty and grace were unmatched! You were the most loving, caring, wonderful Mother I could have ever hoped to have. I hope you knew how VERY much I loved you and always will. The pain I feel from your loss is unbearable...but I know that is not how you would want me or the rest of the family to live. You would want us to be happy and live full and joyful lives, because that's how you were. In time I will be able to do exactly as you wished. I am sorry for your loss. Losing someone you love is one of the strongest pains. The pain of their absence can sometimes feel overwhelming. But one of the things that keeps me strong is my hope to see my loved ones again. The Bible offers me that hope at Daniel 12:13 that my loved one will rest in death but then they will rise at the end of days. I have allowed scriptures like this to give me strength when i begin to feel sorrow over my loss, I pray that it offers you the same encouragement during this trying time for you.

Mom I hear you  whisper in my ear " Don't  worry  Babe I'm always here. Death can't tear us apart I'll always live within your heart. So work and play and carry on a mothers love is the strongest bond."
So thank you mom I'll find a way to move along though out the day. I'll see your soul as the birds fly by and wipe the tears from my eyes. Your love surrounds me this I know thousands of memories  I won't let go. So until the time comes when we meet again I'll love you mom, my best friend.

On a bitter cold day Before family and friend Will you two stay together Right till the end? Mom not only were you a great mom but you were also a best friend. Il miss your laugh your smile you fantastic sense of humor and so much more. The ride home from work will never be the same because you won't be on the other end of the phone call with dad. I'll miss you calling me babe and " your ray of sunshine" you were my ray of sunshine. I know you're watching over your family, I feel you with me already. I promise I will take care of dad. Until we meet again I love you with all my heart!❤

Emma was one of the warmest, kindest people I ever knew and we were so fortunate to have her in our family. She was gracious and giving to all who knew her.
