

Florian was born in Poland. During WWII, he was deported with his parents and siblings to Siberia, then lived in Africa for 6 years in a displaced persons camp (Tenheru, Tanzania). From there they moved to England, where he met and married his loving wife. In 1955, they immigrated to Chicago, IL.
Preceded in death by his parents Adam and Maria Skrzypczak, his sisters Irena, Daniela and his brother Henry.
Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Sophie. Beloved children Harriet (Michael) Russell, Zygmunt (Iris) Skrzypczak, George (Donna) Skrzypczak, Christine (Richard) Mizera, Mark (Michalene) Skrzypczak.
Beloved grandfather of Adam (Elena) Russell, Matthew (Melissa) Russell, David (Leigh) Russell, Rebeca Skrzypczak, Olivia Skrzypczak, Ethan Skrzypczak, Paula Skrzypczak, Karyn (Matthew) Victor, Laura (Vaughn) Drozd, Andrew (Jordan) Mizera, Stephen (Mary Margaret) Mizera, Nicholas (Colleen) Mizera, Michael Skrzypczak, Madeline Skrzypczak, Joseph Skrzypczak and Daniel Skrzypczak.
Adoring great grandfather of Henry, Graham, Sophie, Daniel, Nathan, Dean, James, Reese and Luke. Devoted uncle of many nieces and nephews.
