Gail is survived by her loving husband, Robert, of 65 years, whom she met as a teenager at Buena Church in Chicago.
In her younger years, Gail worked for the Ravenswood YMCA as an office manager and, at times, ran the entire YMCA Ravenswood organization. She later devoted herself to raising her loving family which was the greatest joy of her life. Every thought revolved around her children and grandchildren. Her signature line was, “I love you a bushel and a peck” followed by the expectation of “a hug around the neck”. She spent much of her spare time volunteering for the neighborhood Young At Heart Club and supporting the Forest Glen Community Club in any way needed.
Gail loved traveling and visited all 50 United States and all the provinces of Canada. She will be remembered for the love and attention she gave to her entire family, her light-hearted sense of humor, and her quick wit.
Gail was the loving mother of her son, Scott, and his wife, Kathy, and her daughter, Lynn, and her husband, Al. She was the beloved grandma of Kyle (Ruth), Nicole (Blake), Adam (Lauren), and Anthony.
