

Guadalupe Salgado Aguirre, age 63, of Chicago, Illinois, was born in Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico on December 13, 1961, and went on to be with the Lord on Friday, May 30, 2025. Guadalupe was a kind, noble woman whose generous heart and inner strength touched everyone she met. She cared deeply for those she loved and made friends wherever she went. Her faith in God was the foundation of her strength and the comfort she offered to others. She faced challenges with Grace and resilience, always trusting in God's plan.
Guadalupe is survived by her beloved husband, Ignacio; her loving children Rocio (Arturo Lugo) Salgado, Janet (Uriel) Martinez, Elizabeth (William Puma) Coronel, and Didier (Shanna Sofia Arceo) Guadarrama; and her adoring grandchildren Alex Jared Flores Salgado, Emiliano Isai Flores Salgado, Yazmine Analy Puma, Jaremi Flores Salgado, Leilani Martinez, Eliana Martinez, and Caleb Martinez. She is the dear daughter of the late Pablo Salgado Alcántara and María Félix Aguirre Armenta; adored sister of Marcelo Salgado Aguirre, Alfonso Salgado Aguirre, Rosa María Salgado Aguirre, Olga Salgado Aguirre, Ma Estela Salgado Aguirre, and the late Mario Salgado Aguirre, Rey Salgado Aguirre, and Roberto Salgado Aguirre. She was also a cherished sister-in-law, an unforgettable aunt, a caring cousin, and a fond friend to many.
