Henry J. Leenstra, age 88, of Palos Park, Illinois born in Worthington, MN passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. He is the beloved son to Dutch parents the late Al Leenstra and the late Grace Van Wigcheren. US Army veteran. Henry lived 80 years in the Chicago Beverly area. He was well known and loved as "THE GOOD NEIGHBOR OF CHARLES STREET". He is survived by his sister Agnes Wagner, nephews Steve, Jeff, Jim and many cousins.
Visitation is Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home on Pulaski Road, 10727 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago, Illinois 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Please meet the funeral director at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois for the inurnment.
