Homan Buchanan

Homan enjoyed gardening, playing PS5, loved his Casino Slot games online and spending time with his close friends, family, and Indy. He had worked for several salons in Chicago before semi-retiring and doing hair for some people at a salon chair he set up at home.

Homan is survived by his loving husband George Euring, III, his adoring dog Indy, beloved siblings Della Keys, Larry Buchanan and C.L. Buchanan, many loving nieces and nephews, cherished mother-in-law Kay Holland, loving sister-in-law Krystal Stillman, beloved nephew Jaxon Stillman, adoring close friends Sandra Calloway, Gloria and Jamar Willis, and Raymond Dailey and many other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Pete Davis, Earl Davis, Lonell Davis, Marget Buchanan, W.J. Buchanan, Alice Buchanan, Herman Buchanan, Jr., and Terry Buchanan.

A visitation for Homan will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 N Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625.
