Jack Scafide, born on January 25, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 80. A devoted and hard-working individual, Jack was known for his loyalty, gentle nature, and selflessness. He was beloved by many and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Jack was the most loving husband of the late Carol. He was a loving father to Jack Scafide, Chrissy (Mark) Richter, and Michael (Emily) Scafide, and an adoring grandfather to TJ Richter and Nicholas Scafide. He was also the dear son of the late Jack & Josephine Scafide; beloved brother of Santo (Kim) Scafide and Joe (Sue) Scafide, an unforgettable uncle, a caring cousin, and a fond friend to many, especially his cherished dog, Nicky.
In his personal life, Jack enjoyed coaching sports, woodworking, and visiting casinos with his wife Carol and friends. His interests and hobbies brought joy to his life and to those around him.
