Today I found that my cousin Jim Watson passed away last year. I did not receive his usual Christmas card last year and this year. I called and his phone not working so found his obituary.  I'm sosorry I had lost touch with him. Have so many fun memories of our youth if someone who is reading thisvI would love to  hear from you and you could tell me about the man you know . He was a good person

Just today did I find out that my first cousin Jim Watson has died. I have been concerned as this was the second year I did not receive a Christmas card. Someone suggested  I check the obituary in Chicago and there  it was. Jim and I grew up together and I have many fond memories of ouryouth and when I hear the song Rock Around the Clock I think of us dancing in his dining room,laughing and having so much fun. If there is someone close to Jim in recent years I would appreciate hearing from you. I loved my cousin and am sorry that he is gone. He was a good soul.

JIM and I were high school friends. We always send Christmas cards, called each other once in a while. It was my turn to call him and unfortunately I waited too long. I have so many fond memories of Jim. I will remember him always as a kind boy/man and a good friend !

Jim was such a kind man. He was always so positive and he would encourage me every time he saw me struggling as a single mother. He had so many great stories to share as well as kind and loving words.

Jim was my next door neighbor and friend for almost 16 years.  I met him the day I moved into Catalpa Winthrop - he was warm and helpful from the start.  I enjoyed our long talks about life and philosophy.  He was a resilient man - some folks become bitter from adversity but he became a gentle soul.   He worked through the travails of life with his art.  More than once I told him the best thing about my home was that he was my neighbor and friend.  He will be remembered with love.

Jim was so kind to me from the very beginning when I didn't know anyone in the neighborhood, and later, just as kind to my spouse. I have fond memories of him on his bike. He never hesitated to offer help or chat a bit in the stairway. I hope he knew how much he was loved and appreciated. Rest in peace, Jim.
