I remember Jana as a loving and kind woman,  mother and teacher who was a fierce protector of children - her own son as well as others she taught or knew. I was lucky enough to meet her when we were just getting our footing as parents of young children in the same elementary school. Her sass and sense of humor always made me laugh and helped me keep things in perspective. As a teacher she was so kind to my son who was initially a bit overwhelmed  by preschool.  On tough mornings she’d meet him at the classroom door, flash her reassuring smile and grab his hand to show him a new book or toy.  I am grateful to have known Jana and send the Sadovi family’s deepest condolences to the Milne family.

I'm always gonna remember the movie nights, sleepovers, and the car rides to Lane. She was always so caring and would go out of her way to make me feel like I was part of the family when I was there.

Jana was a sister to me , we have known each other since we were 3 years old. I will miss her deeply. We always had so much fun together. Always talking to each other regardless how busy we were. Always making time for each other. I still can’t believe that she is not there . Rest in peace.

Hello, my name is Kamilah. I worked with Jana at Compass Health Center. Jana was not only my manager, but a very good friend and I will miss her greatly! Jana was a beautiful person inside and out!
