

Born in Haiti on August 13, 1937, David immigrated to the United States in the 1970s and began a new chapter in Chicago. There, he built a life with his beloved wife of 47 years, Guslaine Lindor, and together they raised their two daughters, Jessica and Natasha.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, David is survived by Guslaine; his daughters, Jessica and Natasha; and his three cherished grandchildren—Cooper (12), Xavier (9), and Tegan (9). Cooper proudly carries David’s name as his middle name.
David was a deeply religious man whose faith guided every step of his life. A longtime member of his local parish, he attended Sunday Mass faithfully and served his community with quiet devotion, collecting offerings each week until he could no longer walk. His gentle optimism and kind demeanor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, his unwavering commitment to his family and faith, and the warmth he brought into the lives of others.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 9-10:30 AM at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, 60625. A Funeral Mass will then take place at 11AM at Holy Child Jesus Parish, 2324 W Chase Ave, Chicago, IL 60645. Jean will be then be laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, IL, 60660.
