Born in Chicago on Tuesday February 19, 1929 to Carl and Lucile (née Rutan) Bowman. U.S. Air Force Korean War Veteran; beloved husband of Marilyn, née Lavan; loving father of David (Beth), Chris (Geri), Lisa (Greg) Meyer, Sue (Barry) Haeger and Jim Lavan; dearest grandpa of Jammie, Kalie and Shannon; dear brother of Richard (Lois) Bowman; fond uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday May 8, 2010 from 2 p.m. until time of services, 7 p.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 miles West of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rds.), Roselle, IL.
