Jose R. Negron, age 72, Vietnam War Army Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient. Jose was born in Canovanas, Puerto Rico on March 14, 1949, and passed at Jesse Brown VA Hospital on February 18, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Jose was the most loving husband of Luz Negron; loving father of Tina Negron and Jacqueline Negron; adoring grandfather of Adrian Segura, Saleena (Daniel) Maldonado, Jonathan Ortiz, Julius Mendez, and Angeline Mendez; most adoring great-grandfather of Aaliyah Maldonado and Armani Maldonado; dear son of Ramon and the late Juana Negron; beloved brother of Manuel Negron and the late Martha Miranda; unforgettable uncle; caring cousin; and fond friend of many. Jose was a member of the American Legion.
