Jozef Mika

Lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Helena; adored father of Iwona (Brian), Agnieszka, and Michael (Asia); devoted grandfather of Ricky, Damian, Samantha, Ashely, Aiden, and Audrey; fond brother of Stanislaw, and Irena (Aleksander).

He will be best remembered for his great sense of humor, his laugh, being a prolific reader and storyteller, loyalty, friendship, and the ability to talk to anyone.

Józef Mika, urodzony 19 Marca, 1947 roku w Pojawiu w Polsce, zmarł nagle 09 Maja, 2023 roku w wieku 76 lat.

Ukochany mąż Heleny, który odszedł po 50 latach wspólnego związku; Wspaniały tata Iwony (Brian), Agnieszki, i Michała (Asia); Oddany wnukom “Dzia Dzia”: Ricky, Damian, Samantha, Ashely, Aiden, i Audrey; kochany brat Stanisława, i Ireny (Aleksander).

Jego poczucie humoru, uśmiech, lojalność, przyjaźń, i otwartość na ludzi pozostanie na zawsze w naszej pamięci.

Odszedł on nas Człowiek wielkiego serca, wyjątkowej skromności i życzliwości.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM, at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646.

Mass of Christian Burial will at 10:00 AM at St. Ladislaus Church, 5345 West Roscoe Street, Chicago, IL 60641.

Interment at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL 60714.
