

She was born in Chicago, Illinois. Julia worked as a self-employed automobile dealer consultant. She had many hobbies and passions, including gardening, painting, photography, and going to musical venues with friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Julia will be best remembered for her dry sense of humor, her smile and laugh, her generosity to family, and her unique sense of style in art and clothing.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Andy and Brian Emberton; her grandchildren, Jack, Ashley, Hannah, and Lauren; and her daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Andy). She was preceded in death by her parents, Marylou and Frank Fritzmann. Julia is also survived by her brothers Paul, John, and Stephen; her sister Fran; and many nieces and nephews including Matthew and Kyle (Bovyn), Emily, Alyson, Daniel (Fritzmann), Kate and Geena (Fritzmann), and Frank (Fritzmann). She was preceded in death by her brother Andy and sister Alyce.
