Lawrence Edward Jastper

Lawrence E Jastper, was the proud father to Colleen Jastper and Grace Jastper. The beloved son of the late Lawrence Jastper and Victoria Jastper. The cherished brother of Paula Jastper and Thomas (Nina) Jastper. As well as the proud uncle of Brandon Jastper. His family was his greatest joy, and he dedicated his life to loving, guiding, and supporting them. Lawrence will be remembered for his warm smile and gentle wisdom. He carried the values of hard work, kindness, friendship, and integrity throughout his life. He was a skilled carpenter and brave firefighter who touched countless lives while on duty. Whether telling stories, offering advice, or simply sitting quietly with the people he loved, he made everyone feel safe and valued. A wake will be held on Friday, February 27th, from 4 pm- 8 pm at Malec and Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N Milwaukee Ave. A prayer service will take place at the same location on February 27, 2026, at 4:30 pm. The funeral will be held at 9:30 am the following morning, Saturday, February 28th, at Malec and Sons, with mass following at St. Edward's Catholic Church from 11:30 am-12:30 am. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that his love and legacy will live on in all of us. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
