Maria Elena Fernandez, age 89 of Chicago, arrived in the U.S. on March 11, 1969 from Cuba. Beloved wife of Ricardo Osvaldo, loving mother of Maria "Mari" and her partner Tricha Olson, dear sister of Ana, fond aunt of Ana, Margaret, George and Mike. Memorial service Saturday, December 14th at 3pm at Drake & Son Funeral Home. Visitation at 12pm until time of service.All food and refreshments will be provided by the family.
Maria was a loyal friend who possessed a great wit.
