Dear Family, In life we are given many special gifts--none so special as a sister. I was very fortuntate to have Marilyn as my sister. Growing up she always had my back. As we grew up we never lost that special connection of sisters. She was always ready and willing to help all. Despite her long medical history she never let on that she was sick. She was an excellent cook always trying new recipies and hoping those of us eating would like them. She loved the holidays and decorated her home to the fullest. She loved the holy family and through out the years I was always looking for new and different nativities for her. I found some very unusual ones which she really enjoyed. She loved her family and we all loved her. She loved games--growing up our family was always playing some type of board game or cards. She used to enjoy  playing cards outside with me, as she would read the cards in my hand, off of my glasses--some might call that "cheating". I never really knew why she always had the "jump " on me. She planned everything including her funeral. She was an amazing sister and I will really miss our sister connection. Someone to share your deepest thoughts with someone to laugh with and go out wth. Her journey is now finished and those of us left must go on. She will never be out of our thoughts and prayers. Baby sister {I am the only one that can say that}  I will always love you and miss you. Much love to Wayne, Kevin, and David.  The loss of your wife, and your mother, is incaluable.  Please know that you are loved by many people, including people who you may not even imagine are grieving for you.  There is even a person you knew many, many years ago, who mourns the terrible loss you are experiencing.  God bless you all.  You are often in my thoughts.

My dearest Wayne, Kevin, David and Melissa, I know how much you and all of us that knew her will miss Marilyn.  She was more to me than just my "cousin's wife", she was truly my cousin and friend.  Her courage and foritude all these years were such an inspiration and the most amazing thing is I don't even think she realized it.
I hope all the wonderful memories that you hold close to your heart will help you through this time.  That is what I will think of when I think of my cousin Marilyn, all the happy times we spent together.  God Bless you all.  I know she was welcomed by an abundance of family and friends and she is truly in the arms of Our Father.

Marilyn my sister , I and all will miss you deeply. We were blessed to have you in our lives. Anyone close to you could see your unblievable courage and determination. The time I spent working on your house will always be a very special memory for me. We all must go on without you but you made the trip with you an enjoyable one.

Mom, we were so fortunate to be raised by such a brave and unselfish person.  The examples you set and wisdom you bestowed will be forever reflected in not only your sons and daugter-in-law, but by the hundreds of children you taught over the years.  You were truly a model for all mothers and a grand example of God's creation.  I know you are looking down at us now, smiling, just as you did until your last moments here with us.  I cannot express enough how much you will be missed.  Thank you for everything you did for us all; it will not be forgotten.  We love and miss you soooo much.
